Public works and maintenance

Backhoe diggingToowoomba Regional Council is always seeking to improve and maintain public roads and infrastructure. Maintenance works are carried out when defects are found through routine inspections or by council staff or members of the public. Council maintenance includes repairs to potholes and hazardous footpaths. Construction work is also undertaken in the form of new infrastructure, such as footpaths and bridges, upgrades to existing infrastructure by widening roads and intersection upgrades, and the rejuvenation of existing roads.

You can avoid possible traffic disruptions or delays by finding information on regional works and traffic updates from the current roadworks menu on left. We are working to provide additional information about planned projects in the near future. In the mean time please contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
