Consumption charge

A consumption charge is applied to every kilolitre (1,000 litres) of water consumed, as measured by your water meter. The consumption charge consists of a first tier charge and a second tier charge for all  properties for the 2009/2010 water year.

Property owners may apply for partial relief from water consumption charges in situations where water has been lost through an unapparent plumbing failure.
