The Toowoomba Regional Council community profile (opens in new window) includes local demographic information from the Census of Population and Housing for 2006, 2001, 1996. It is designed to inform community groups, council, investors, business, students and the general public.
The profile allows users to view Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) census data and generate reports on Toowoomba region and smaller areas within the region. These reports (with maps, tables and charts) contain census demographic information including age and gender profiles, multicultural diversity, housing and tenure types, incomes and workforce, education, employment and family composition for the selected area. The community profile will also allow users to compare results for their selected area to council area, Toowoomba statistical district, South East Queensland and Queensland.
