Coordinator Operations Southern (Water Operations) – Greenmount based (WO39)

As the Coordinator Operations Southern you will provide leadership to operational staff, coordinate operational and maintenance activities and implement operational and system improvements to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of Toowoomba’s water and wastewater storage, supply, treatment and distribution systems to satisfy water demand and meet Australian Drinking Water Quality requirements and environmental license requirements. Qualifications required are: Degree from a recognised University, with substantial relevant experience or a combination of extensive experience, expertise and competence, which enables the incumbent to perform all duties of the position. Industry qualifications such as Associate Diploma, Certificates in Management, Water Operations Certificates or a Trade Certificate in a relevant field is desirable. Possession of a current “C” Class Driver’s Licence. A current Queensland Plumbers Licence is desirable. Certificate III in Water & Wastewater Operations is desirable.
