Trees and plants are one of the region’s greatest assets and Toowoomba Regional Council wants to see this continue into the future through conservation of native plant species. Some plant species are protected according to the Nature Conservation Act 1992 (opens in new window) which ensures they are used in a way that will protect and sustain them.
