This includes user's server address, the user's top level domain name (eg. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc.), the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used.

We use this information to improve the quality and performance of the site.

Any information provided to Council through the use of online systems will be used for official local government administration only. This will not be passed on to third parties.

Council's use of cookies

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique identifier that is saved on your computer or mobile phone (referred to here as a "device") browser from a website's computer. More information about cookies can be found in en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie or www.cookiecentral.com.

How do we use cookies? While browsing council websites, the pages you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded to your browser. Many websites do this, because cookies enable website publishers to do useful things like find out if you have visited the website before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking to see, and finding, the cookie left there on the last visit.

Links provided to other non-council websites likely include cookies. Please refer to individual website terms as council takes no responsibility for any external web services.
