Visitors to the Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre regularly admire our beautiful "Queenslander" building. The purpose-built centre is based on a late 1800s style Toowoomba house, while the colours are Queensland colonial from the 1880 to 1900 era. The feature polished timber floors and stained-glass motifs of the "Toowoomba" violet, can be best enjoyed when you come inside. Welcome!

Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is conveniently located on the Warrego Highway, on the eastern entrance to Toowoomba. Visitors to the centre can expect to find comprehensive information on local attractions as well as tourist information for Toowoomba and the Darling Downs and all of Queensland.

The centre provides a wide range of services:

East Creek Park, adjacent to our centre, has a playground and picnic & BBQ facilities, making it a handy resting point on a long journey. Parking is available for cars, coaches & caravans, and there is disability access to our centre and toilets.
