Davidson Arboretum, Cawdor Road or Flamingo Road Highfields - Features many plant varieties, mostly temperate deciduous trees and a labyrinth.

Highfields Falls, Dau Road Highfields - Walking tracks, waterfall and a large bushland reserve on the doorstep of Highfields, this little known reserve has a delightful waterfall that flows all year round. Large numbers of birds inhabit this reserve. Large mound nests constructed by scrub turkeys can sometimes be seen near the tracks. And there is always the possibility of seeing a koala in the top of a gum tree.

Michael Park, Orange Grove Road, Highfields - Multipurpose court (tennis, basketball) playground, BBQ and picnic facilities and toilets, drinking fountain, water tap.

Peacehaven Botanic Park, 56 Kuhls Rd, Highfields - 4.7 ha of land that preserves a stand of beautiful old eucalypts and has the best views of the Bunya Mountains in the area.

Plaza Park, Plaza Circle, Highfields - Picnic area, toilet block with disabled access, barbecue, drinking fountain, water tap.

Williams Park, Cecil Crescent, also Mavis Court and Benn Court, Highfields - Playground, BBQ and picnic facilities, walking tracks and toilets. The local community worked with Council to remove broadleaf privet and lantana from this reserve. You may see a bird using one of several nesting boxes that have been set up here.
