Mt Basalt Reserve, entrance to the is located approximately 17 km south-west of Millmerran on the Kooroongarra Road - Mt Basalt Reserve has long been a point of interest because of the unique and striking basaltic geological formations as well as the magnificent views over the district’s upland farming country which encompasses both the Condamine and MacIntyre River catchments. Walpole Park, Charles Street between Walpole and Charlotte Streets, Millmerran. Access from the Gore Highway is via Charles Street at the eastern entrance to town - Self-contained (only) motor homes and campervans are permitted to overnight at this park for a maximum of 3 nights. A public black water dump is located in Charles Street opposite Walpole Park. Please note that if the vehicle is not self contained it is not permitted to overnight in this area.
