Toowoomba Regional Libraries have quality literature for young children. Our libraries offer many activities during the year and support to help find the right book. Click on the Read More link for information about activities and resources available, including Story Time sessions at many of our libraries.

Story time is available at many of our libraries in the Toowoomba Region. Storytime incorporates storytelling, music and craft activities and usually goes for approximately 45 minutes. It is a wonderful way for your child to socialise and be introduced to literacy and the joy of reading.

Cecil Plains Library
Story time is on the third Wednesday of every month from 11.30 - 12.15 at Cecil Plains Library.

Clifton Library
Story time is on the first Wednesday of every month from 10.30 - 11.15 at Clifton Library.

Crows Nest, John French VC Memorial Library
Story time is on the second Tuesday of every month from 9.15 - 10.00.

Highfields Library
Highfields Library has story time weekly on Monday and Wednesday from 9.45 - 10.15 am.

Millmerran Library
Story time is on every Tuesday from 9.30 - 10.00 at Millmerran Library.

Oakey Library
For three to five year olds, every Thursday at 9 30 am. during the school term time. 

Pittsworth Library
For under 5s is at 9.30am on Wednesday, with the session repeated at 9.30am on Friday

Toowoomba City Library
Story time is on every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 - 11.45am and Wednesday evenings from 6.30 - 7.15pm all year round. Bookings are not necessary.

Toddler time for 1 - 3 years olds is held every Monday at 11 am. Bookings are not necessary.

Baby rhyme time for babies aged 0-1 year old is every Monday at 11.30 am. Bookings are not necessary. 

Yarraman Library
Story time is on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 10.15 - 11.00 at Yarraman Library.
