Darling Downs Regional Readers Cup Competition 2012

The Darling Downs Regional Readers cup competition is open to all primary and secondary schools

The Darling Downs Readers Cup competition will be held at Fairholme College on June 14. The primary competition for grades 6 and 7 will be held from 4 pm to 5.30. The secondary competition for grades 8 and 9 will be held from 7 pm to 8.30. 

The books for each competition are:

PRIMARY – Gr 6&7
Harry's War– John Heffernan
War Horse– Michael Morpurgo
Because of Winn-Dixie – Kate DiCamillo  
Toppling – Sally Murphy                  
Vegetable Ark- Kim Kane and Sue de Gennaro

SECONDARY – Gr 8&9
Harry's War– John Heffernan
The Golden Day– Ursula Dubosarsky
War Horse– Michael Morpurgo
The Phantom Tollbooth – Norman Juster
Vegetable Ark- Kim Kane and Sue de Gennaro
