Mobile Library Service

Toowoomba Region has a Mobile Library service catering to communities otherwise disadvantaged by distance.

The Mobile Library currently visits the communities of Meringandan West, Gowrie Junction, Kingsthorpe, Bowenville, Jondaryan, Mt. Tyson, Kulpi, Cooyar, Wyreema, Westbrook Cambooya, and Greenmount.

How do I join?
Anyone who lives within the Toowoomba Region Council area can join. All you need is proof of address and you may borrow immediately.

What can I access?
A great range of books: adult fiction and non fiction, magazines, CDs, audio books and DVDs.
A large variety of children’s fiction and non-fiction as well as picture books and board books.

Stock is always changing and being refreshed on a regular basis ensuring variety.

Internet access
The Mobile Library has 2 public access laptops for your use, both with A4 colour copy capabilities.

A colour copier is available for public general use.

Order online
You can order books from the comfort of your own home via our library catalogue and pick them up at any of the above mentioned locations convenient to you.

Junior story telling services are available.
