Can I access items from other libraries?

Residents within the Toowoomba Regional Council boundary can use any of the region’s libraries for free.

If you are a Library member, we can attempt to find items in other Libraries that we do not hold.  We try the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane first and if they have the item there is no charge.

However, if we do need to locate the item outside the State Library a fee will apply. We will check with you first to see if you would like us to try further before going outside of the State Library.
