Children's booksThe Toowoomba Regional Council manages 13 district libraries which residents of Queensland can join and enjoy free-of-charge.

These libraries offer vibrant young people’s programmes, author visits,   Friends of Libraries activities and home deliveries to people who are unable to visit the library themselves. Many other services are available from various libraries such as internet access, computer  classes including classes covering a wide range of topics through our Digital Hub training program, special programmes, local history information and online databases.

Available to borrow are fiction and non-fiction books, large print books, audio books, music CDs, e-audio-books, DVDs, a Language other than English collection, learning another language material and magazines. To become a library member, all you will need is identification showing your Queensland residential address, remember membership is free and you can join online by clicking here.
