Crows Nest Folk Museum and Village on Thallon Street in central Crows Nest will transport you back 100 years.
The museum boasts its very own village, every building has been lovingly restored by volunteers who have paid great attention to every detail to ensure historical integrity and authenticity where possible.
The centrepiece of the museum is "Carbethon". This magnificent home built in the late 1880s was moved to Crows Nest in 1978 and was opened as a folk museum in September 1978. The Folk Museum has continued to thrive since its inception and visitors from across the world have enjoyed their experience at Crows Nest Folk Museum and Village.
