The Highfields Cultural Centre located at O'Briens Road, Highfields is a purpose built venue catering to conferences, trade shows, functions, performances, weddings. The centre is the meeting facility for community and craft groups. The centre can cater for 500 theatre style will full catering available on site.

Oakey Cultural Centre is located adjacent to Council's Oakey Service Centre in Campbell Street, Oakey. With the capacity to accommodate up to 500 people, it is a suitable venue for conferences, weddings, concerts, sports presentation nights, balls, displays and exhibitions. The centre has meeting rooms, is fully air conditioned, and includes a commercial kitchen, bar, stage, sound and lighting.

The venue can be hired either in whole or in part (for example, the Foyer and Gallery areas are particularly suitable for displays and exhibitions).
