Permit for Memorial Works

This is an application for a permit to undertake memorial works^* on an interment site in a Toowoomba Regional Council controlled Cemetery.

Interment site means a site in which a deceased person/s or cremated ashes is buried or placed in an above ground mausoleum or vault.  The permit to undertake memorial works does not provide any property rights to the interment site.  This application may be made by a person authorised to request a permit for the memorial works.

^*Memorial Works means: Any addition, alternation, reconfiguration or physical change to the structural element of a memorial and associated elements (e.g. memorial perimeter fencing etc) which changes its physical appearance.   Items included in this definition but are not limited to: painting, relettering, repair where glues or adhesives are required, sand blasting or use of abrasives, straightening, underpinning, restoration.
