Cemeteries

Cemeteries are an important part of Australia’s heritage.  The interment places of our ancestors provide a history of the nation’s growth and a valuable insight into its development, and in some instances may be the only place where a person's life in Australia is recorded.

Toowoomba Regional Council operates 19 cemeteries in the region, 16 of which are open for new interments. Find out more information on cemetery locations, history and opening times. Please contact council for more information.
