Incentives and rebates

Council's WaterWise rebate program ceased on 10 August 2010. 

Council continues to encourage the community to practise waterwise behaviour and, where possible through incentive programs, offers its residents assistance to install water efficient appliances such as water efficient shower heads (refer to the article below).

Although there are no council rebates currently being offered, some rebates and incentives available from other government agencies include:

• ClimateSmart Home Service program - state government program.
• Solar Hot Water Rebate - federal government rebate.

The National Rainwater Tank Rebate - federal government incentive closed 10 May 2011. Final applications needed to be lodged by 10 November 2011.
