Mayor Dianne Thorley will be casting her vote at 8am when the polling opens tomorrow morning at Harlaxton State School.

Cr Thorley will be visiting a number of polling stations during the day but does not have a specific schedule.

Cr Michele Alroe will be stationed at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Hall from 12noon to 2pm, while Cr Michelle Schneider hands out “vote yes” cards at Glenvale State School from 10am.

Cr Englart will be at St John’s Lutheran Church all day and Cr Albion is coordinating Middle Ridge State School, while Cr Ramia will be paying a visit to a number of polling stations.

Labor’s Member for Toowoomba North Kerry Shine will be volunteering for the ‘yes’ case at Holy Name School tomorrow in the afternoon.

Crows Nest Shire Council is coordinating the Darling Heights State School poll station, with their CEO David McEvoy present from 10am until 12noon. Meanwhile Crows Nest Shire Mayor Geoff Patch will be at Rockville State Pre-School from 8am to 10am.

Democrats Senator Andrew Bartlett will be handing out ‘how to vote’ cards at Fairholme College between 10am and 6pm.

The Greens and Save the Mary River Coordinating Group will have people stationed all around Toowoomba’s polling booths.
