Water usage by sector

By far the largest portion of Toowoomba's water consumption is by our residential customers. Combined, houses, flats and home units use 70.6% of Toowoomba's water, while industry use is equal to only 6% of commercial consumption, or 1% of Toowoomba's total water use.
