WaterWise fact sheets listed below provide more detailed information relating to the Permanent Conservation Measures applying to residential premises connected to the Toowoomba Bulk Water Supply and to Greenmount, Cambooya, Vale View, Wyreema and Hodgsonvale water supply schemes.

There is no longer a need to apply for a concession to water with a hose as an alternative to bucket watering, since everyone is now permitted to use a hose, provided that it is fitted with a twist or trigger nozzle -   see our fact sheet on watering gardens and lawns in the related documents section below.

PLAY YOUR PART - BE WATER SMART

Water efficiency requirements now apply to a range of town water uses by both residents and business. These requirements are either provisions of the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 or part of the Toowoomba Regional Council water restriction arrangements.

Residential swimming pools must meet water efficiency requirements in order to be topped up with town water.  An owner may demonstrate compliance with a plumber's certificate or a statutory declaration.  Forms are available as a Related Document below as well as a fact sheet outlining Permanent Conservation Measures.
