The attached 2009- 2014 Corporate Plan was adopted by Council on 16 June 2009. While the Corporate Plan sets the strategic direction for Council, it is recognised that this direction will always be evolving to reflect the needs of our residents. The 2009-2014 Corporate Plan will be comprehensively reviewed following the completion of Toowoomba Regional Council ’s Community Plan (ACTION 2050).

The Toowoomba Regional Community Plan describes the community’s overall vision for the region’s preferred long-term future. It covers local and regional issues across the following nine themes – settlement pattern, transport and mobility, integrated infrastructure and utilities, natural environment, natural resources and landscape, community identity, strong communities, economy and governance.
