Council is inviting not-for-profit sport and recreation clubs to apply for funding as part of its Sport and Recreation Community Grants Program.
Council recognises the important contribution sport and recreation community organisations make in planning, developing and maintaining sport and recreation facilities and programs in their communities.
Under the program, council provides funding and/or inkind assistance to help organisations develop facilities and programs of benefit to the community.

Funds are also available to help local sport and recreation clubs build new or upgraded facilities through the State Government's Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Program. (See www.srq.qld.gov.au/funding.aspx)
Organisations seeking financial assistance from council to support its Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Program (State Government) application must apply through council's Sport and Recreation Community Grants Program.
