Our education resource provides work units and lesson outlines written to support senior primary and middle school students studying sustainability and water resource issues.

Below is a list of some excellent books that relate to local water issues, as well as Australian and global water topics. They link well with our integrated unit "Water for our Future" and can be sourced from Toowoomba Library Catalogue.

• Hamilton, M. 2005, "The Atlas Of Water", Earthscan, London. Excellent short topic chapters with visuals, graphs, maps. It provides comprehensive data using a global perspective on water issues.
• Clarke, R. & King, J. 2003, "H2O - Stories of Water", ABC Books.
• Healey, J.(ed) 2003, "Water Use": Issues in Society Series Vol. 189 , Spinney Press, Thirroul, NSW. Water issues in society through water media reports. Useful as a teacher resource.
• Bowden, R. 2002, "Water Supply - Our Impact on the Planet", Hodder, Wayland, London. Global actions and solution. Very informative, helpfullt set-out, good box information.
