Bunya Park Scouts visit SES

Scouts from the Bunya Park troop visited the SES Toowoomba Group last night, Wednesday 10 November. The evening's program included presentations by the Toowoomba Regional Council's Disaster Management Coordinator and the Youth Officer from Emergency Management Queensland. After the presentations the scouts were then given the opportunity to participate in a couple of hands on activities involving radios and height safety equipment. This type of activity is provided by the Toowoomba Regional Council as part of its public disaster education program.
