Older residents 50+ regional workshops

In May 2009, the Community Development and Facilities branch of Toowoomba Regional Council undertook an extensive regional needs analysis consultation with older residents aged 50+.   

The rationale for this consultation was the need to further investigate the issues facing older residents within the districts and to also provide council with a consolidated regional perspective. 

Two hundred and eighty seven (287) residents aged 50+ within the region  participated in the workshops.
