 Teaching exchange of a lifetime

Are you interested in learning about and discovering the wonders of another country? If you answer YES, then this may be the opportunity of a lifetime and one you've been waiting for.

Takatsuki City Council is looking to appoint people holding tertiary qualifications to teach conversational English at elementary schools in Takatsuki, Japan.  The 12-month period of appointment commences in April each year.

Takatsuki City Council prides itself on its hospitality. You'll be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodation.  During your first few days you'll be introduced to the city and the school system and meet the Mayor, council staff and members of the Education Board. Rental accommodation is supplied.

While not a requirement of appointment that you are fluent in Japanese, it would be an advantage.  Participating in Japanese language classes prior to departure will be required and additional lessons will be available to you through the Takatsuki City Council.

You will be supported by the teaching staff, the Education Board, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and councillors of Takatsuki City Council and staff of the Takatsuki International Association as well as the Mayor, councillors and staff of Toowoomba Regional Council.
