Residents of Wilsonton Heights have taken the opportunity to rename their local park. They have voted to reject Wine Drive Park in favour of Wilsonton Heights Park following a request to council from the local Neighbourhood Watch group.

A survey of local residents revealed their preference for Wilsonton Heights Park, with the distant second choice being James Jaffery Burn Park.

Existing park signage will be replaced with signage reflecting the new name.
