Cemetery registers reborn

These historic ‘gems’ are now available for public viewing at Toowoomba Local History Library. Seventeen cemetery registers dating back to around 1885, have been transferred from the Drayton and Toowoomba Cemetery to the Library. The registers list the name of the deceased, cause of death (pre 1920s), date of death and burial, funeral director, burial site and name of the Minister conducting the burial service.
