Due to the weather forecast, the Oakey District Australia Day Celebrations have been moved to the Oakey Cultural Centre, cnr Campbell & McDonald streets, Oakey.
The timetable will be the same, with the only change being the Billy Boiling which will be at 10.45 am, at Arthur Shooter Park, Stanley St.
The raft race will continue at 11am, but we ask that rafts be bought to the Cultural Centre at 7.30 am for the enjoyment of patrons, and judging presentation, then taken to the creek after 10.30 am.

7.45 am Free BBQ Breakfast until 8.30am, served by Oakey Junior Rugby League Club.
7:45 am Music by local artists Alicia Sires and Jacob Bradford

10.45 am Billy boiling competition organised by Jim Skinner,
11.00 am 2012 Oakey Creek Cup Raft Race. Judging of best presented raft assembled b not-for-profit groups, followed by the Oakey Creek Cup raft race over 200 metres.
Presentation of trophies for raft race will take at conclusion of program.
