Anybody can be a tourist, but living, working and absorbing the culture of another land is a gift many will never get to experience.

With bustling cities, stunning countryside and the friendliest of people, Japan has held a special appeal for so many of its visitors – now, Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is giving university graduates an opportunity to work there.

Council is recruiting for Assistant English Teachers to work in Takatsuki, Japan for 12 months commencing in April, 2012 and the call has now gone out for expressions of interest.

TRC is looking for someone who is:

  • a university graduate
  • willing to live in another country
  • motivated
  • a people person
  • knowledgeable about Toowoomba and surrounds
  • open to new experiences and cultures
  • ready to have a great time.

An information session will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 6.30pm at the Toowoomba Regional Council Immunisation Clinic, 12 Little Street, where the details of the program can be fully explained.
