Council uses a number of means to communicate with ratepayers, residents and the general community. This includes media releases, a regular resident newsletter, a two-minute weekly TV segment (Sunday evening prior to state news on Channel 7), a weekly full page advertisment in Saturday's Toowoomba Chronicle, radio segments and community announcements and Facebook and Twitter. There are also project-specific brochures and flyers. Other promotional materials including signs, posters, bookmarks and fridge magnets, are used where appropriate to keep the region's community informed.
