Council operates from a range of locations across the region. We have eight service centres from Clifton in the south to Yarraman in the north. Workplace health & safety

The health and safety of employees depends on the commitment of our people. To achieve a healthy, incident-free work environment, the dedication and cooperation of all employees is essential.   TRC delivers regular in-house WH&S training to all employees, both office-based and field staff. An annual corporate Wellness Program (health check) is available to any staff who wish to participate. Vaccinations, WH&S information, QUIT smoking programs and an Employee Assistance program are also made available to  employees free-of-charge. Confidential assistance and counselling is offered employees and their families.

Study assistance & learning and development opportunities

Toowoomba Regional Council understands that providing study assistance is an important way of providing support to employees to develop both personally and professionally. Generous assistance is offered to those employees who wish to pursue further study related to their role at council. 

Financial benefits

In additon to basic remuneration, TRC offers a employer contribution of 12.4% superannuation, where employees make a 6% contribution. This is compulsory after 12 months service. Salary sacrificing is also available for voluntary superannuation contributions, aquatic centre / gym membership and membership of work-related professional organisations.
