The Damian (Damo) Cox Memorial Trust has been established for the purpose of awarding an annual Bursary in the memory of the Late Damian Cox.
Persons aged between 10 and 25 years who have resided within a 30 km radius from the Crows Nest township for a period of at least 12 months, are eligible to apply for the Bursary in one of the following fields:
- to further develop a demonstrated sporting talent
- to continue study or research in a particular educational field in which the applicant can demonstrate a high level of achievement
- to further expand a demonstrated ability in either arts or crafts
The Bursary will be awarded on the basis of $2,000 to a single applicant or to two applicants each receiving $1,000.
