Peter Taylor was born in Goondiwindi and grew up on a brigalow property in the Moonie area. Peter was educated initially by correspondence and then in Brisbane. He gained a commercial pilot licence and worked as a charter pilot. He operated an expanding agricultural business until recently selling this business to concentrate on his new role of Mayor of the regional council and now resides in the CBD of Toowoomba.

Paul Antonio was former mayor of Millmerran Shire Council for eight years prior to becoming a councillor and the deputy mayor of Toowoomba Regional Council. 

He was elected as a Millmerran Shire councillor more than 25 years ago.

Mike Williams is the former Deputy Mayor of Cambooya Shire Council. He has lived in the Cambooya shire for 30 years, spending the last eight as a councillor in that area. He and his wife Jo-Anne have run the successful Mike Williams Country Clothing business for the past 20 years. He and his family also breed and train horses at their Hodgson Vale farm and compete in showjumping and polocrosse.

Noel Strohfeld has been involved in local government since 1979 (March 1979 to March 1994 and March 1997 to current) and served as Mayor of Rosalie Shire for 11 years. He is involved in many community organisations and enjoys motor sport, cricket and travel.  He and wife Ruth have two children and five grandchildren.
