Toowoomba Regional Council keeps three Registers which contain particulars of delegations made.  They are:

•    Register of Delegations by the Toowoomba Regional Council to the Mayor.

•    Register of Delegations by the Toowoomba Regional Council to the Chief Executive Officer.

•    Register of Delegations by the Chief Executive Officer to Council Officers.

The Registers of Delegations by the Toowoomba Regional Council lists the matters in which the right to act or exercise discretion has been so delegated by resolution of the Council.  All powers delegated are subject to the conditions and limitations stated.

The Chief Executive Officer may also delegate certain powers (including some powers delegated to the officer by the Council) to another employee of the Council.

Delegating a power does not derogate from the power of the Council to act in any matter itself.
