Council has one central phone number for all enquiries including after-hours emergencies 131 TRC (872).

After-hours emergencies are classified as a matter that poses an immediate risk to health, life, property or environment

After-hours emergencies include:

  • Water main burst
  • Water leaks
  • Traffic signals not working
  • Dog attacks
  • Serious environmental incidents
  • Call outs from emergency services  
  • Trees on roads
  • Dangerous pot holes
  • Sewer blockages/overflows.
