The official launch of the Toowoomba Region Community Information Directory is being held at the Village Green, behind City Hall on Saturday, 7 November. The event will include an introduction by Cr Bill Cahill, a demonstration of the advanced search capabilities of the new directory and an invitation for community groups to register a listing using onsite facilities. Bring your family and a chair to then view the Disney movie, Bolt.
Author's visit cancelled
Australian author Sheryl McCorry's book signing and lecture visit to Toowoomba City Library scheduled for this weekend (Saturday, November 7) has been cancelled due to illness.
